Log Cabins

Each Log Cabin or Log House is fabricated using Swedish redwood timber of the highest grade, inspected individually, to guarantee quality. All designs feature traditional notched corners and are supplied in a single delivery as a complete set. 

The standard delivery for all log cabins consist of:

  • Pressure-treated bearers, 55 x 140 mm

  • Floor joists and 22 mm floor sheets

  • Wall logs, notched at corners, 66 x 130 mm or 88 x 130 mm.

  • Roof trusses, T & G roof boarding, roofing felt, bargeboards and triangular section battens.

  • Eaves and gable flashing

  • Doors and windows

  • Open planking for veranda floor

  • Boards for veranda balustrade

  • Architraves for doors and windows

  • All necessary coach screws and nails

  • Triple glazed windows*

  • Insulated doors

  • Necessary Insulation

  • Assembly plan

 

 
Our logs are notched to give a perfect fit, here you can see the stiffener which is used to further stabilize the structure around porches, windows and doors. Our Pressure treated bearers are screwed together and placed on the plinths. Our Logs are 88 x 130mm which makes them bigger than the standard UK offering!
